Coordinate Local Events New Page 1

Local event planning can take many forms. When you get down to it, events consist of getting a group of people together for an activity or an experience. In this section you will read about a few local events that have been successful for past delegates. If different events are popular in your community, you should incorporate them into your fund-raising plan. Be sure to find an activity or event that you and your community will get excited about.

Local events serve three purposes:
1) They help you raise your program tuition.
2) They help you spread the word about your program and what you hope to accomplish.
3) They are an excellent way to bring family, friends, and the community together.
