Things to Consider When Using an Outside Source

·         How long has the company been in business? Who are the owners? Do you know the address and phone number of the main office?

·         How much profit are you going to make? Ask about shipping charges, breaking-case charges, brochure charges, and return policies. Hidden costs will lower profits in the long run.

·         If you have a question or problem, how long will it take your fundraising representative to return your call? Are you the representative’s number-one customer?

·         Are the fundraising products 100% guaranteed?  As a fundraiser, you do not need the added stress of dealing with angry people who are unhappy with their merchandise. Dealing with a firm that stands behind its products makes your life much easier!
